Religious Committee in An Giang extends congratulation to new Coadjutor Bishop of Long Xuyen

A delegation from An Giang provincial authorities visited Long Xuyen Cathedral diocese on August 26 on occasion of Vatican’s recent appointment of the diocese’s new coadjutor bishop.
The delegation was led by Vice Chairman of An Giang provincial Party Committee’s Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Tiếc Hùng and joint by Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Nguyên Châu.
During the visiting reception, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiếc Hùng congratulated Bishop Joseph Trần Văn Toản on being recently ordained as the diocese’s new Coadjutor Bishop. He also expressed hope that in his new position, the Coadjutor Bishop would continue encouraging Catholic followers in the diocese in general and in An Giang province in particular to make further practical contributions to the country.
