A delegation of the Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang paid on July 28 visits to the Representative Committee and dignitaries of the Islamic Community in the province om occasion of the Eidel-Adha festival 2020.
During the visits Vice Chairman of the provincial religious committee Lê Tùng Châu extended warm greetings and celebrations of the traditional festival to leaders and members of the Islamic community.
He also asked the Islamic representative committee and dignitaries to promote their roles for well guiding religious practices and social activities of local Muslims, contributing to Islam, contributing to uphold fine religious traditions and promote sustainable development in the locality.

Eidil-Adha, or Royar Haji New Year for the Islamic community in Vietnam, is the second most important event of the year, and often regarded as the traditional New Year, for the religious community. This year, the festival started on July 31 and will end on August 3.
