The committee for religious affairs in Kien Giang province started on September 16 a training on religious affair for officers at provincial and district levels in the province.
The training taking place until September 19 drew 62 cadres tasked with religious affairs from provincial agencies, departments and districts.
The four-day training covers basic contents of state policies and laws on religion & belief, the state management on religion, and the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and its guiding Decree 162, as well as general understanding of religions in the locality and professional skills in religious affairs.
