The Department of Home Affairs of Ha Nam province organized on Oct. 19 a professional training conference on belief and religion in Phu Ly city for local cadres tasked with religious affairs in the locality.

The event drew 150 participants from the provincial Fatherland Front committee and social-political organizations, and steering boards for religious affairs and home affairs offices in the province’s districts.
The one-day training covered key contents of the Party's views and undertakings on belief, religion and state administration on belief and religion; State policies and laws on belief and religion; local regulations on belief and religion; and practical issues relating religion and public security and social order.
Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ha Nam Đỗ Hồng Hà delivered thematic content at the training.
The training conference aimed to consolidate and raise awareness of members of the steering boards for religious affairs, the Fatherland Front and political organizations at all levels on the Party's views, the State's policies and laws on belief and religion, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the state administration on beliefs and religions in Ha Nam, as well as skills in advocacy work in religious communities in the locality.
