The Party’s Committee of Quang Nam province’s Nam Tra My district in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in Third Region held on March 8 a training course on religious affairs for key cadres in the district.

The event drew the presence of key cadres from the district’s Party’s Committee, mass organizations, and heads of the People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Board in ten communes in the district.
During the event, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Ngô Văn Minh, Dean of the Faculty of Ethnicity and Religion under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in Third Region presented key contents of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on belief and religion, the current religious life in Vietnam, religious affairs in ethnic minority areas, and Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and its guiding Decree 162.
The training participants also engaged in discussions of practical issues relating to ethnicity and religion in Nam Tra My district.
