A training conference on the state administration on religion for key officials in Lam Dong province’s Cat Tien was held on July 17 - 19.
The event was organized by the provincial Government Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with Cat Tien district People’s Committee, and attended by 100 participants who are key officials from district-level concerning offices and communes in the district tasked with religious affairs.
The three-day event covered topics on State policies and laws on belief and religion including the new Law on Belief and Religion, the Decree 162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new law, and the state administration on belief practices, new religious phenomena as well as regulations on religion-related land and construction.
