The home affairs department in Hoa Binh province in collaboration with Luong Son district people’ committee in the province held on September 20-21 a training on the State governance on religion for key cadres in the district.
As many as 90 participants who are heads of the party committee, people’s committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s committee and socio-political organizations, officials and village chiefs of five communes of Thanh Luong, Hop Thanh, Cao Duong, Long Duong and Hop Chau in Luong Son district attended the training.
During the two-day training covered topics on the current religious life and the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 as well as practical issues relating to the state governance on religion.
The training aimed to enhance knowledge on religious affairs for cadres tasked with State management on religion from the district’s communes having large numbers of Catholic residents.
