The Committee for Religious Affairs in Lam Dong province held from June 23-26 the first training on religious affairs for commune-level cadres in charge of religious affairs in the province’s districts.
Attending the training taking place at Political School in the province included 80 cadres who are leaders of People’s Council and People’s Committee, and officers tasked with religious affairs in communes and wards of Lam Ha, Di Linh, Bao Lam, Da The, Cat Tien districts and Bao Loc city.
The training covered key contents of religious-related policies and laws of the Party and state, the Law on belief and religion 2016 and its guiding Decree 162, overviews of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Caodaism, the state administration on religion, the advocacy work in religious communities and practical skills for handling religious hot spots in localities.
The training also provided discussions and explanations of practical issues related to the implementation of the new law on belief and religion.
