A delegation of the Committee for Religious Affairs’s in Gia Lai province paid on January 18 a visit to Most Venerable Vice President of the Central Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council Thích Quảng Xả, ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2020.
During the visit taking place at Hue Chieu pagoda based in Kon Tum city, while extending Tet greetings to Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả and all Buddhists in Central Highlands in general and Kon Tum in particular, the delegation expressed hope that the Buddhist leader of the central VBS in charge of five VBS’ chapters in Central Highlands would continue paying more attention for guiding religious practices of the Buddhist chapters and followers in accordance with the state law.
Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả, who is also Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Kon Tum province, shared with the guests outstanding results of the Buddhist activities in the five provinces in Central Highlands over the past year and extended a traditional new year of happiness and success to Gia Lai province.
