Religious affairs committee in Gia Lai extends pre-Tet visits to religious organizations

An Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs paid on January 12-19 delegation visits to local religious organizations and outstanding dignitaries in provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

The provincial religious committee delegations visited the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee, the Vietnam Evangelical Church (South)’s Representative Committee in the province, the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Representative, and Baha’i Community’s Dien Hong Spiritual Council, Kon Tum Diocese Office, and met with outstanding religious dignitaries.

During the visits, while extending Tet greetings to leaders and members of religious organizations, the provincial religious committee highly appreciated practical contributions made by religious communities for the Covid-19 prevention work and social charities in the province over the last year.
