Local authorities in Binh Phuoc province’s Binh Long provincial city held on February 22 an exchange meeting with outstanding religious dignitaries and ethnic people in the provincial city.
Attending the event included Deputy Secretary of the provincial city Party Committee Nguyễn Thị Loan and 32 religious dignitaries and prestigious ethnic groups in the locality.
At the meeting
Binh Long provincial city currently has six operative religions, with over 12,380 followers.
As reported at the meeting, in 2022, religious organizations in the provincial city have spent over 1.6 billion VND for providing free medical examination to over 10,000 disadvantaged people, presenting 3,385 sets of traditional New Year (Tet) gifts to poor families and handing over 15 bicycles to pupils in the locality.
