Thua Thien Hue province announced on August 12 the closure of relics and tourist attractions, after two cases of Covid-19 infection in the community detected in the province.
On the same day, the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control issued a dispatch on epidemic prevention measures in the province.
Accordingly, the provincial authority recommended that people stay at home and strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures and 5K recommendations.
The provincial authority also asked belief and religious worshipping places to suspend nonessential conferences or meetings and religious practices with 20 or more participants more to ensuring the Covid-19 prevention.
