The Home Affairs Department in Quang Ninh province held on October 26 an exchange conference with key members of religious organizations in the province.

The event saw the presence of Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department in the province Nguyễn Tiến Dương, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Đăng Kiên, and nearly 300 religious leaders, dignitaries and lay followers of four religions in the province.

The conference had exchanges on the implementation of state policies and laws on belief & religion, including practical issues relating religious practices outside of lawful religious venues, land use rights for religious establishments in historical and cultural relics, and the registration for group activities for Catholic and Protestant sects.

According to Deputy Director Nguyễn Tiến Dương, in early 2022, religious organizations in the province have supported over four billion VND in cash for the construction of 13 charitable houses, presented nearly 4000 sets of supports, over four tons of rice, medical equipment and wheelchairs for people with disabilities.
