A delegation from Quang Binh provincial authorities paid a visit on February 12 to Hoang Phuc pagoda located in the province’s Le Thuy district on occasion of New Year of the Pig.
The delegation led by Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Hoàng Đăng Quang and joint by representatives of Le Thuy district authorities was welcomed by Head of Hoang Phuc pagoda Venerable Thích Khải Đạo.
During the visit, Secretary Hoàng Đăng Quang extended Lunar New Year greetings to Buddhist dignitaries and followers in the province, and praised the pagoda for its charity works over the past years. He also expressed hope that Hoang Phuc pagoda would continue meeting spiritual needs of locals and maintaining as a tourist spot in the locality.
