Quang Binh provincial authorities extend Christmas greetings to local Catholics

Quang Binh provincial authorities paid visits from December 15-23 to Catholic establishments in the province on occasion of Christmas 2019.  

The visiting delegation headed by Vice Chairman of Quang Binh provincial government Trần Tiến Dũng visited the office of Ha Tinh Diocese (covering Quang Binh province), parishes of Cho Sang (Quang Trach district) and Dan Sa (Ba Don district).

The delegation led by Head of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) committee Phạm Thị Hân travelled to Minh Cam Parish in Tuyen Hoa District, Dong Hung Catholic Community in Ba Don District and the center for children with disabilities and orphans run by Huong Phuong Holy Cross Lovers. Meanwhile, the delegation led by head of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Công Huấn visited Dong Troc Parish and Bau Sen Community in Phuc Trach District. 

During the visits, officials of Quang Binh provincial government extended merry Christmas to Bishop Paul Nguyễn Thái Hợp of Ha Tinh, as well as to all Catholics in Quang Binh. The provincial VFF delegation also presented VND 100 million to the Catholic center looking after disadvantaged children operated by Huong Phuong Holy Cross Lovers in the locality.

On the occasion, the provincial committee for religious affairs, concerning provincial agencies and local authorities visited and extended happy Christmas celebrations to Catholic people in localities.
