A delegation led by Colonel Director of the Public Security in Soc Trang province Lê Minh Quang paid on September 27 visits to Khmer pagodas in the province’s Vinh Chau urban district, on the occasion of the Sene Dolta festival 2019.
The delegation visited and met with Buddhist monks and followers in Khmer pagodas of Prey Chop and Tang Du located in Vinh Chau’s Lac Hoa commune.
During the visits, Colonel Lê Minh Quang extended warm celebrations of Sene Dolta festival to Buddhist monks and followers, and expressed hope that local Buddhists would continue making contributions for community development in the locality.
On the occasion, representative leaders of the district Party committee and the public security in Vinh Chau have sent greetings to Khmer Buddhist temples in the urban district.
