During the gathering, Col. Trần Quốc Phục, Deputy Head of the public security in the province, highlighted practical contributions made by prestigious Khmer to public security and social order in the locality, and called on Khmer monks and other outstanding Khmer to continue promoting their role in promoting fine traditions for social cohesion and sustainable development in the locality.

On occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay, the traditional New Year of Khmer people, Col. Trần Quốc Phục extended warm celebrations of the festival to all Khmer people and presented gift sets to the prestigious Khmer participating in the exchange meeting.
