The public security department in the northern province of Bac Kan held on November 18 a meeting with religious dignitaries and deacons with outstanding contributions to public security and social order in the locality.
Present at the event included Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Phương Thị Thanh, Colonel Hà Văn Tuyên, Director of the provincial public security department and representatives of concerning departments and agencies.
During the gathering, 18 dignitaries of Buddhism, Catholicism and Protestantism have been lauded for their outstanding efforts in the advocacy work amongst religious communities, practically contributing to maintain public order and security in localities in Bac Kan.
