Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Lê Văn Nưng, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thanh Bình and representatives from religious and ethnic organizations in the province.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman Nguyễn Thanh Bình took the chance to thank sponsors, religious and ethnic organizations for accompanying local authorities in helping people affected by the pandemic.

He also urged local authorities to closely work with religious and ethnic organizations in the province for strengthening preventive measures against the pandemic, as well as mobilizing resources for supporting people facing difficulties due to the pandemic.

The charity program aimed to continue sending 200 tons of rice, 27 tons of fish and 20 tons of fruits and vegetables to people facing difficulties due to Covid-19 pandemic while observing social distancing orders under Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister in the locality.
