The provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thua Thien Hue province and the Vietnam Youth Federation in the province held on April 20 a signing ceremony for a coordination program in 2024-2025 period.

During the event, the two sides discussed coordination activities for the 2024 – 2025 period.
The coordination program focuses on strengthening fellowship amongst Buddhist youth through mutual assistance in secular and religious life, gathering young Buddhists to participate in social programs launched by the Vietnam Youth Federation in provinces, and promoting Buddhist youth’s roles in implementing patriotic emulation movements in localities, etc. In addition, the provincial VBS and the Vietnam Youth Union in the province would actively join together in social and charitable activities for helping disadvantaged children, poor people living in border, mountainous and island areas and people affected by natural disasters, improving schools in disadvantage areas, presenting sponsorships, health insurance cards to poor pupils and disadvantaged people, and protecting environment in the locality, etc.
