The People’s Committee in An Giang province held on January 22 a meeting with typical intellectual, ethnic & religious people and overseas Vietnamese, ahead of Lunar New Year 2019.
The meeting saw the participation of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vương Bình Thạnh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thanh Bình, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’ Committee Trần Anh Thư, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Đỗ Tấn Kiết and over 200 delegates who are intellectual, ethnic & religious members and overseas Vietnamese.
During the meeting, provincial leader informed results of socio-economic development in the province in 2018 and highly appreciated practical contributions of religious organizations in the locality over the past years.
