The delegation was welcomed by Most Venerable Thích Niệm Thới, Chairman of the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee and other members of the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee.

While extending happy celebrations of the Buddha’s Birthday 2022 to the VBS chapter and local Buddhists, Chairman Trương Nhật Quang spoke highly of the VBS’s practical contributions in for socio-economic development in Tay Ninh province. He also called the VBS chapter in the province to further encourage local Buddhists to promote unity and proactively take part in charitable projects and social programs assisting the disadvantaged in the locality.

*On the same day, a delegation of Bac Ninh authorities paid a visit to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Chapter in the province on occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday 2022 (B.E. 2566)

The delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Hương Giang was welcomed by Most Venerable Thích Thanh Dũng, Deputy Patriarch of the VBS’s Central Discernment Council.

During the visiting reception, Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Hương Giang spoke highly of practical contributions by local Buddhists to socio-economic development of the province. She also expressed that the provincial VBS would continue guiding religious practice and social actions of monks, nuns and lay Buddhists, practically contributing to patriotic movements launched by local authorities.

On occasion, Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Hương Giang extended happy celebrations of Buddha’s Birthday to Most Venerable Thích Thanh Dũng, other Buddhist dignitaries and all monks, nun and lay people in the locality.
