A delegation from Ba Ria – Vung Tau provincial government led by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Đặng Minh Thông on February 5 visited the Executive Committee of the VBS’s Chapter in the province on occasion of the lunar New Year (Tet).
Most Venerable Chairman of the VBS executive committee in the province Thích Quảng Hiển welcomed the delegation at the VBS committee’s office based in Dai Tong Lam Pagoda located in the province’s Tân Thành district.
While extending Tet greetings to Most Venerable Thích Quảng Hiển, dignitaries and followers of the VBS chapter in the province, Vice Chairman Đăng Minh Thông hailed practical contributions by local Buddhists in the locality. He also called on local Buddhist dignitaries and followers to uphold fine tradition for promoting social unity and contributing to socio-economic development in the province.
