Provincial authorities of An Giang, Ca Mau extend Easter greetings to local Christians

Three delegations of An Giang provincial authorities paid separate visits to Christian churches in the province on occasion of Easter 2021.  

The delegations visited Long Xuyen diocese, Catholic parishes and congregations, Evangelical church chapters, and Christian elites in the province.

During the visiting receptions, while extending warm celebrations of Easter to Christian dignitaries and  lay followers in the province, local authorities’ representatives took the chance to inform results of socio-economic development of An Giang in the early months of 2021. They expressed hope that Christian dignitaries and deacons would encourage lay followers to proactively participate in local patriotic movements, the election of deputies to the 15th NA and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term and the Covid-19 prevention work in the province.

Easter visit to congregation under the Vietnam Baptist Church

On the occasion, the Committee for Religious Affairs in Ca Mau province has also visited and extended Easter greetings to several Christian establishments in the province.
