Provincial authorities Nghe An extend congratulations to Buddhists ahead of Buddhist Parents Day

A delegation from provincial government of Nghe An extended visits to Buddhist temples in Quynh Luu district on occasion of Vu Lan Festival, known as the Buddhist Parents Day, on August 16.
During the visits, the delegation extended greetings to local Buddhists on occasion of the Vu Lan Festival 2018 (B.E. 2562) and called on Buddhist dignitaries and followers to uphold fine traditions and make practical contributions to social unity and sustainable development in the locality.
Abbots of the pagodas took the chance to thank Nghe An provincial authorities for favorable conditions extended to religious practices of local Buddhists over the past years.
