The provincial Public Security and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Ninh Binh province held on January 11 a conference with key followers of religions in the province, on occasion of Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Cat 2023.

The event saw the presence of Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Head of the National Assembly Deputies Group of Ninh Binh province Nguyễn Thị Thu Hà, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phạm Quang Ngọc, President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of VN cum Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh Archdiocese Joseph Nguyễn Năng, Senior Venerable General Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) ’s Central Executive Council Thích Đức Thiện, Most Venerable Chairman of the VBS’s Central Cultural Affairs Committee Thích Thọ Lạc and Senior Venerable Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Ninh Binh Thích Minh Quang.

During the meeting, representatives of religious organizationư extended congratulations to the success of socio-economic development in the province over the past year, and took the chance to thank to provincial authorities for creating favorable conditions to religious practices in the locality.
Representatives of the provincial government informed religious dignitaries results of socio-economic development in the province over the past year, and stated that the socio-economic achievements in the province were attributed to efforts of the local governments and people, including religious dignitaries and followers in the locality.
On the occasion, the provincial People’s Committee of Ninh Binh presented certificates of commendation to seven groups and eight individuals in honor of their outstanding contributions in the movement launched for promoting all-people engagement in national security protection in 2021-2022 period.
