Provincial authorities in Binh Thuan extends congratulations to Cham Brahmins on occasion of Kate Festival 2021

Member of the provincial Party’s Standing Committee cum Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in Binh Thuan province Nguyễn Long Biên paid on October 4 a visit to Cham dignitaries of the Custom Board of PoKlong Garai tower in Phuoc Hau commune’s Phuoc Dong 2 village of the province’s Ninh Phuoc district, on occasion of the Kate Festival.
During the visit, while extending greetings to dignitaries and all Brahmins in the province on occasion of Kate festival, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Long Biên expressed hope that Cham dignitaries and deacons would promote their roles in encouraging Brahmins to strictly observe preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic during the Kate Festival.

As reported, Cham people in Binh Thuan province celebrated their Kate Festival from October 4-6. To ensure COVID-19 prevention and control, especially amid complex developments of the pandemic in the province’s Phan Thiet city, this year's celebration is not held at Po Sah Inu tower as usual.
