At the conference, religious organizations in Hanoi committed to join patriotic movements launched by authorities in the city in 2024.
In particular, religious organizations in Hanoi would continue promoting the role in encouraging religious followers to enhance social cohesion, actively contribute to national construction and defense, and promote environment protection and climate change adaptation.
Especially, in 2024, municipal authorities would organize programs for honoring practical contributions made by religions for the construction and development of Hanoi, and cultural & sport activities for fostering religious engagement on occasion of the 70th Liberation Day Anniversary of the city.
As a practical response, a large number of religious followers has actively engaged in a blood donation program, with 98 blood units collected in total.
