An Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with the provincial Public Security held from October 27 to November 15 nine propaganda meetings on drug prevention for Hoa Hao Buddhist followers in the province.
Propaganda meetings taking place at the office of executive boards of the Hoa Hao Buddhist chapters in the province drew from 100 to 150 Hoa Hao deacons and followers in each propaganda gathering.
Propaganda meetings coved presentations on legal documents for drug prevention, drug preventing work in the country and the province, as well as the advocating work for encouraging deacons, followers and prestigious people in the Hoa Hao Buddhist community to practically contribute in drug prevention in the locality.
