The Central Vietnam Women Union (VWU) held on August 23 a propagandist contest for promoting women’s engagement in ethnic and religious areas in the Central Highlands with the participation of five teams from the women unions of provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong.

The event provided information on viewpoints, tasks, and solutions to engage ethnic and religious women according to the Resolution of the 13th national congress of the VWU, as well as promoted their roles in preserving fine traditional values and national cultural identities of ethnic groups, eliminating outdated customs and practices, and implementing gender equality, etc.
For the contest result, the Organizing Committee of the contest has presented the special prize to the propaganda team of Dak Nong province; the first prize to Lam Dong provincial propaganda team, the second prize to Gia Lai provincial propaganda team and the third prize to Kon Tum and Dak Lak provincial teams.
