The People’s Committee in Yen Bai province in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communication and the People’s Committee in provinces of Son La, Lai Chau and Dien Bien opened on September 23 a exhibition on cultural performances of ethnic groups and a photo and a document exhibition on ethnic groups and religions in the cause of national construction and defense.
The exhibition on cultural performances of ethnic groups consists of 14 booths including three booths from provinces of Son La, Lai Chau and Dien Bien, eigth booths from districts of Yen Bai province and three booths of Nghia Lo district, creating a cultural space of ethnic groups of provinces of Yen Bai, Son La, Lai Chau and Dien Bien, which have Xoe Thai dance.
On the occasion, the Information and Communication Department in Yen Bai province in collaboration with Department of Grassroots Information under Ministry of Information and Communication organized a photo and document exhibition on ethnic groups and religions in the cause of national construction and defense with 200 photos and documents
The exhibition ran until September 26.
