The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hai Phong city’s Duong Kinh district in collaboration with the board for solidarity of Catholics in the district held on August 17 a meeting for reviewing the implementation of patriotic emulation movements in the Catholic community for 2017-2022 period.
Overview of the meeting
As reported at the event, throughout the years, 450 Catholic households in the district have proactively joined patriotic emulation movements launched by local authorities, especially the movement promoting cultural lifestyles in residential areas, contributing to socio-economic development of the locality.

The event also elected members of the board for solidarity of Catholics in the district for the 2022 -2027 period and selected members to attend the 8th congress of the Vietnamese Catholics for national construction and defense for 2022-2027 tenure.
On the occasion, the district People’s Committee and the district Vietnam Fatherland Front presented certificates of recommendation to local Catholic groups and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in the 2017-2022 period.
