The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Tra Vinh city in collaboration the Tra Vinh provincial Center for Disease Control implemented on September 16 a Covid-19 vaccination program for 95 religious dignitaries in Tra Vinh city.
The vaccinated religious dignitaries came from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s executive board in the city, the association for solidarity of patriotic Buddhist
monks in the city, Tra Vinh Caodai parish, oratories under the Correction-Path Caodai Church in Ward 6 and Tay Ninh Caodai Church, the evangelical chapter under the Vietnam Evangelical Church (south) in Ward 7, Vinh Binh Caodai oratory and the Chinese Association in the city.
During the program, doctors and nurses have carefully checked the medical health of religious dignitaries before giving them vaccination against COVID-19, and closely monitored their specific indications after vaccination.
Religious dignitaries have strictly observed preventive measures against the pandemic such as wearing facemask, disinfecting and keeping the distance.
