Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lê Hồng Vinh chaired the one-day event.
At the meeting, practical issues relating religion, including land and construction of worshipping facilities new religious phenomena, have been raised and discussed amongst participating representatives of concerning provincial departments and agencies.
The year-end event also mapped out a working plan for the state administration on belief and religion in Nghe An in 2023, emphasizing key tasks set for meeting legitimate needs of religious people, strengthening the dissemination of state laws and upholding law observance in the locality.
On the occasion, certificates of commendation of the provincial People’s Committee and the Government Committee for Religious Affairs have been presented to outstanding groups and individuals in performing tasks of the state administration on belief and religion in 2022 in Nghe An province.
