Chairman of Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee Lưu Xuân Vĩnh led a delegation to visit and meet with the Dignitaries Council of the Brahmin Cham community in the province on occasion of Kate Festival 2017.
The provincial leader, accompanied by representatives of the provincial religious committee, met with Religious Chief President of the dignitaries council Hán Đô and members, Vice Presidents of the committee Đổng Bạ and Hán Văn Dậu, as well as several typical families of Brahmin Cham ethnic group.
During the visit’s meetings, Chairman Lưu Xuân Vĩnh extended congratulatory greetings to Brahmin dignitaries and followers of the Cham ethnic community in Ninh Thuan province and wished them merry celebrations of Kate festival 2017. The provincial leader also expressed hope that the dignitary council of the Brahmin Cham community would further promote fine traditions and encourage Brahmin followers for practical contributions to socio-economic development in localities.
