Deputy Secretary of Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Bắc Việt led a delegation on October 5 to visit typical Cham people in the province on occasion of Kate festival 2018.
Joining the delegation included representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee.
The delegation visited Head of the board for cultural-social affairs under the provincial People’s Council Đàng Thị Mỹ Hương, former Vice Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Thiết Ngữ, Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Lưu Nào, former Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee Quảng Tài, former Member of the provincial People’s Council Trương Ngọc Anh, Vice Chairman of Thuan Nam district People’s Council Bá Bình Yên and former Deputy Head of the department of Agriculture and Rural Development Châu Thanh Long.

Speaking during the visiting receptions, while extending greetings to typical Cham people and their families on occasion of Kate festival 2018, Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Bắc Việt called on them to continue encouraging local Cham people to well implement the State’s policies and laws, contributing to the socio-economic development in the locality.
