Ninh Thuan provincial authorities have paid visits to Cham Islamic communities on occasion of their Ramuwan (traditional New Year) festival 2019 held on May 3-5.
The visiting delegations led by Deputy Secretary of Ninh Thuan provincial Party’s Committee Nguyễn Bắc Việt and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lê Văn Bình respectively visited and met with the Dignitary Council of Bani Islamic Community at its office located in Ninh Phuoc district’s Phuoc Hai commune, and the Representative Committee of Islamic Community in the province in No. Mosque 104 in Thuan Nam district.
During the visiting receptions, while extending traditional New Year wishes to dignitaries and followers of Cham Islamic communities in the province, the provincial leaders called on them to uphold fine traditions and proactively engage in local movements for socio-economic development in the locality.
