The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province sent on July 29 Dispatch No. 454/UBND-VP6 to religious places asking for strict measures against the Covid-19 epidemic in the province.
Specifically, the provincial government asked belief and religious worshipping places in the province to cancel all gatherings for belief and religious practices, from 0:00 on July 30 until further notice.
The provincial People's Committee also asked the provincial home affairs department to collaborate with religious organizations in the province for ensuring a strict implementation of recommendations by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs described in the Dispatch No.674/TGCP-VP dated June 4 on the Covid-19 prevention.
