A delegation led by Vice Chairman of Nghe An province People’s Committee Lê Xuân Đại visited on December 18 local Catholic organizations ahead of Christmas 2017.
During the visiting reception taking place in Vinh diocese cathedral, while extending merry Christmas to priests and Catholic followers in the diocese, Vice Chairman Lê Xuân Đại expressed hope that the priests and followers would continue upholding fine traditions and actively joining social movements launched by local authorities.

On the occasion, the delegation visited and extended Christmas greetings to Yen Dai parish (Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city), Xa Doai congregation, Vinh Major Seminary, Xa Doai congregation of Holy Cross, Missionaries of Charity of Vinh and the March 19 center for orphans and children with disabilities in Nghi Dien commune, Nghi Loc district.
