The Department of Foreign Information Service under the Ministry of Information and Communication held on May 9 the monthly meeting on human rights and external information service for May.
The event was chaired by Director of the foreign information service department Đoàn Công Huynh, and joint by representatives of the executive office of the Government Steering Committee on Human Rights, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and other concerning ministries and central agencies.
At the meeting, Deputy Director of the foreign information service department Phạm Minh Giang highlighted key contents of the Circular No. 02/2019 of the information and communication ministry regulating the external information service of ministries, ministerial bodies and agencies directly under the Government.
During the meeting, Dr, Bùi Hữu Dược, Director of the Buddhist Affairs Department under the government religious committee informed of the UN Day of Vesak 2019 to be held in Tam Chuc Pagoda Complex located in the Northern Province of Ha Nam from May 12-14, with the participation of delegates from 112 countries and territories.
