The Military Command in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 10 and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the district signed on June 7 a cooperation program for the 2022 – 2025 period.
The event saw the participation of Senior Colonel Phạm Viết Thanh, Commissar of the district Military Command, Most Venerable Thích Nhật Thiện, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s in district, representatives from the local authorities, other members of the district VBS’s executive board and heads of Buddhist monasteries in the district.

According to Senior Venerable Thích Nhật Thiện, the two sides will closely collaborate in disseminating on defense and security knowledge, as well as the State and Party’s guidelines and policies on religions, and environment protection.
