Memorial house honoring martyrs in Ha Tinh unveiled

The authority in Can Loc district’s Thien Loc commune of Ha Tinh province held on July 5 a ceremony for inauguration of a memorial house honoring revolutionary contributions of Vietnamese martyrs.  

During the ceremony, representatives of local authorities, Ven. Thích Quảng Nguyên and monks, nuns offered incenses for paying debts of gratitude to contributions of Vietnamese martyrs to the independence and national liberation.

The original martyr monument was built in 1999 and has been seriously deteriorated after 20 years of existence. The reconstruction including the monument and a memorial house started in October 2019 and has been completed after eight months of construction.

The new memorial house with stone wall surrounds mentioning names of martyrs covered a construction area of 2,100 square meters. The total investment cost of the construction was 5.7 billion VND.
