Over 180 dignitaries of religions and outstanding people of ethnic communities in Binh Thuan province have participated in an exchange meeting held by the provincial authorities on January 6.
During the event, Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Dương Văn An informed results of socio-economic development in the province in 2020 and highlighted practical contributions made by religious and ethnic people in achievements recorded in Binh Thuan last year.
At the meeting, the religious dignitaries and outstanding people expressed hope that local authorities of Binh Thuan would continue creating favorable conditions extend to religious practices by local people.
On the occasion, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented certificates of recommendation to 23 individuals for their outstanding contributions in social movements and programs launched by the local authorities in 2020.
