Provincial authorities of Tien Giang held on November 17 a meeting with key followers of religions in the province on occasion of the 87th anniversary of Vietnam Front for National Unification (November 18).
Attending the meeting included Vice Chairman of the provincial committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Trần Văn Thi, Deputy Director of the provincial public security Phan Văn Trảng, Vice Chairman of the provincial committee for religious affairs Trần Văn Khuê, and 70 religious delegates representing religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hoa Hao Buddhism, Islam, Caodaism, Pure-land Buddhism and Minh Su faith.
The meeting focused on exchanges of current public order and security in the locality and contributions of religious organization and followers to social stability and security in the province.
