A meeting with key followers of religions in Tien Giang province on occasion of the 88th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18) was held on November 16.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director of the provincial Public Security Phan Văn Trảng and Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê, and attended by 58 religious delegates representing religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hoa Hao Buddhism, Islam, Caodaism, Pure-land Buddhism and Minh Su faith.
The meeting focused on exchanges of current public order and security in the locality.
Religious participants also shared about religious engagement that may practically contribute in the maintenance of social order and public security in residential areas.
