Long An authorities held on August 11 the half-year meeting with representatives of ethnic and religious communities in the province.
Attending the event included Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Đỗ Hữu Lâm, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Hoàng Văn Liên, representatives of religious organizations, and typical Chinese and Khmer people.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman Hoàng Văn Liên shared with participants socio-economic development in the first six months of 2017 in the province and some key tasks set for the last six months.

As reported at the event, religious followers have contributed over VND 36 billion for social charities in the first six months of 2017.
