The delegation was welcomed by Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Caodai Church’s Executive Council.

 “Hoi Yen Dieu Tri Cung” is the biggest festival of Cao Dai followers in a year. This year, due to the complicated context of Covid-19 pandemic, the Tay Ninh Caodai Church holds only worshipping ceremonies, with preventive measures against the Covid-19 pandemic as instructed by the health sector.

During the Covid-19 pandemic prevention work, the Caodai Church has asked the Representative Committee in provinces and cities to guide all Caodai parishes in implementing preventive measures against the pandemic, as well as mobilize resources from the church’s members for supporting Covid-19 patients and disadvantaged households badly affected by the pandemic.

At the visiting reception, while extending warm celebrations of Dieu Tri Festival to the leadership and all members of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church, Deputy Director Trần Minh Nay highly appreciated the Church’s efforts in encouraging its dignitaries and lay members to strictly observe preventive measures against the pandemic and make practical contributions to movements and programs launched for socio-economic development in the province.
