Attending at the event included representatives of the Education & Training Department, the Finance Department, the Natural Resources & Environment, the Information & Communications Department, the People’s Committee Office, and all officials and staff of the Home Affairs Department.

During the meeting, the provincial home affairs department delivered a brief report on its performance results over the past year, as well as put forward recommendations in the field of home affairs, including the allocation of land to religious organizations in the locality.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Trần Văn Hiệp spoke highly of practical results of home affairs, especially religious affairs over the past time, and stated that the home affairs department has encouraged religious followers to strictly observe preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic, make practical contributions to the Covid-19 vaccine fund and send support supplies to disadvantaged people badly affected by the pandemic in other provinces and cities. The provincial people’s committee chairman also asked the home affairs department to closely work with concerning agencies and religious organizations for mobilizing resources in the pandemic prevention and control.
