Late NA Vice President Most Venerable Thích Thế Long posthumously awarded Ho Chi Minh Order

Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân presented Ho Chi Minh Order posthumously conferred on late Vice President of the National Assembly Most Venerable Thích Thế Long to his family at a ceremony held on June 7.
The ceremony, organized by the Office of the National Assembly on occasion the 70th anniversary celebration of President Ho Chi Minh's appeal for patriotic emulation on June 11, 1948, also saw the participation of Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Central Executive Council Thích Thanh Nhiễu
Most Venerable Thích Thế Long (Phạm Thế Long) had served as Deputy of the Vietnam National Assembly at the 6th and 7th legislature, as well as Vice President of the Vietnam highest legislative body at the 7th legislature.
During the ceremony, several groups and individuals were also presented with the State Order and the Government Certificate of Merit for their outstanding contributions to the National Assembly and the NA office over the past years on occasion of the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's appeal for patriotic emulation.
