A delegation led by Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in Lam Dong province Ngô Văn Đức held on August 12 a meeting with Da Huoai district for informing results of a recent inspection on the state governance on belief & religion in the district.
During the meeting, Chairman Ngô Văn Đức spoke highly of results of Da Huoai district in implementing religious affairs in general and the state management on religion in particular. The official also asked the district authorities to timely solve remaining issues, including the unauthorized activities of religious groups, in the locality.
As reported at the meeting, the provincial home affairs delegation inspected from July 20-24 the state administration on belief & religion in the district, and visited several worshipping places in the locality.
Da Huoai district currently has four operative religions of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Caodaism with over 15,000 followers.
